long time

it has been a really long time since i put up a post.
i have been trying to sort out my direction in life and with rebe.
i am still making new pieces and applying to festivals but have taken a hiatus from trade shows. i will still offer some pieces for wholesale. i will soon take down my shopping cart from myrebe.com and offer my online sales with hillery at the upcoming specks and keeping website. i am still going to make custom pieces, so anyone that wants to look at my collections pages may inquire.
also here is a link to my upcoming events
http://www.myrebe.com/event.html
i look forward to seeing you there and showing off some of my new work.

really bad at updating

i am so bad at keeping up with my blog. i get started and say i am going to post daily and now it has been over 3 months! i've shown in san francisco, chicago, new york and trying to get ready for the holiday circuit. i've made more rose dresses, emily dresses, dorrey sweaters, elaine dresses. and more. designed and shown my spring line and i am experimenting with knitting and wrapping to make neck wear. my computer crashed and i lost many great pictures. i am trying to take more but as i have said before it is not a strong point of mine. i am slowly trying to fill my etsy shop with new pieces http://www.etsy.com/listing/60497634/knitted-collar and i will get my home page of my website, www.myrebe.com updated with the next 2 months of shows. just a few things to do.

seattle show

thank you seattle for a good show. it was warm up there last week so i came home with most of my coats and sold most of my dresses. we had some great food, happy hour at list. an amazing dinner at kabul with teresa from texture and kate and rachel from spincycle yarns. thank you guys for taking us! before heading home we had lunch at macrina bakery. i bought their cookbook the food was so good.
we got home to 100+ degree weather....not pleasant. i cannot wait to head to san francisco next.
if anyone in seattle realizes they should have bought a coat feel free to email me to see what i have.

by the way happy birthday nancy, i love you!

almost packed

getting ready for shows always seems to be a hurry up and wait process. i am in the waiting stage.
i am pretty much packed just a few things to finish up and a store order to get out. dogs have been walked, bird fed and has clean water. trying to decide if seattle will support me enough to buy one more suitcase and pay extra or if what i have is enough to sell.
while passing time i finished covering a gross of buttons for the maryanne coats(i do have a few odds and ends of these on sale in older colors on my etsy site).
sometimes i wish i could just keep all the buttons together as inspiration, they look so pretty but needless to say it would be hard to close the coat!
